To support the efficient audit of protected species illegal trade and mislabeling, a cost effective tool for the accurate and rapid identification of protected shark and ray species was adapted to the Greek biodiversity.
At the same time, an awareness raising campaign for the seafood consumers on the illegal trade and mislabeling of shark and ray products in the Greek market takes place.
